Requirements/Eligibility 

Interim Housing / Crisis Housing / Emergency Housing / Bridge Housing

  • Homeless or on verge of homelessness. 

  • Single or have kids

 

Requirement for Families 

  • Currently pregnant or household with at least one minor child

  • If already enrolled in Department of Social Services (DPSS) Program, then MUST have utilized the DPSS Temporary Housing Assistance Program (THAP) 14-days housing through DPSS.

  • Homeless Verification

  • Birth Certificates (for all children under 18yrs)

  • Immunization Records

 

Requirements for Individuals (Individual person without a child in their custody)

  • Homeless Single

  • Identification card (any form)

  • Homeless Verification 

  • Income Verification (if applicable)

Transitional Housing (self-paid program) 

  • Income Requirement: $850 to $1,150 minimum per month. 

  • 6-to-24-month room or bed lease

(DV) Domestic Violence Housing

  • Must be survivor of domestic violence

  • Must be in CalWORKs, General Relief (GR)  and/or  General Relief Opportunities  for Work  (GROW)  programs

(TAY) Transition Age Youth Housing

  • Homeless or on the verge of homelessness. 

  • 16 to 25 years old. 

B7 Bridge Housing

  • Must be 18 Years or older

  • Must have exited a (prison, jail, juvenile detention facility within the last 60 days) or remain in the Justice System’s custody, due to the lack of housing, while awaiting an upcoming trial or court hearing.

  • All participants must be experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness

MIST Housing

(Misdemeanor Incompetent to Stand Trial)

  • Must be 18 Years or older

  • Must have exited a (prison, jail, juvenile detention facility within the last 60 days) or remain in the Justice System’s custody, due to the lack of housing, while awaiting an upcoming trial or court hearing.

  • All participants must be experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness

Mental Health Housing

  • Homeless or on verge of homelessness.

  • Must have a serious emotional disturbance (SED) or a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI)

  • Referral from Primary Care Doctor, your behavioral health care provider, or your health plan (if applicable)

Sober Living Housing

  • Must get a sponsor and/or therapist once admitted.

  • Must participate in the 12-Step Program once admitted.

  • Must submit to random urinalysis testing.

  • Must participate in house chores of common areas and keep your room tidy.

  • Must have a willingness to live well and get along with others.

  • Must participate in regularly scheduled house meetings.

  • This program helps people who are older than 17 years old.
